BMF Youth Stage is a music mentoring program developed by Byron Music Festival and Byron Youth Service to give opportunity to emerging artists between 12-24 years of age based in the Northern Rivers of NSW. 

The program will be open to original musicians of all styles. 

The four artists selected will be working alongside a renowned local mentor, who will help produce an original song at a local recording studio. '

The Youth Stage 2022 winners were:

ANEMOI | RATMONGERS | KALIYA LEE | CONCRETE GOLD

The four artists received:

• One day of pre production with a mentor 

• One day recording at a local studio with a mentor and sound engineer 

• A mixed and mastered radio ready version of their original song 

• Assistance with release, PR and marketing of the new single 

• A performance at a local showcase event

Applicant criteria:

• Must be between 12-24 years of age 

• Must live in the Northern Rivers

• Have an already written original song

• Must be available for the meet & greet, mentoring and recording
