Q. WHERE CAN I VIEW THE PLAYING SCHEDULE?

A. The Playing schedule will be published two weeks prior to the festival. Subscribe to our mailing list via the website home page to make sure you get the news first!

Q. IS THE MAIN EVENT ALL AGES?

A. Yes, BMF is family friendly and all ages are welcome. Per the standard, all minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, and minors are not permitted in the licensed areas.

Q. WILL A TICKET TO THE MAIN EVENT (SAT 17 JUNE) GRANT ME ACCESS TO ALL

BMF2023 EVENTS?

A. No. Each ticketed event is sold separately. There are also many free events over the BMF2023 weekend. All BMF2023 tickets are available via:

Q. WILL THERE BE PASS OUTS AT THE MAIN EVENT (SAT 17 JUNE)?

A. No pass outs. This is a licensing matter to ensure the safety of all. Please prepare for the full day. Bring warm clothing for the evening, and any medication you may need.

Q. IS THERE A CLOAK ROOM AT BMF?

A. Yes. Each item will be stored for $5 each. We can accommodate items such as jackets. There will be limited space for larger items such as prams. Please note that umbrellas are NOT permitted. The Cloak Room closes at 7pm. All items must be claimed by then. Any items left behind will be available for collection from Byron Music Shop from Monday 19 June. All care, no responsibility taken.

Q. WHAT BMF2023 EVENTS HAVE FREE ENTRY?

A.The Northern, Friday 16 June (18+)

Byron Bay Services Club, Saturday 17 June (18+)

Community Beach Clean Up & amp; Beach Soccer, Sunday 18 June (all ages)

Q. WILL FOOD & BEV BE AVAILABLE AT THE MAIN EVENT?

A. Yes, there will be a wide range of food & beverage stalls throughout the festival site, plus two licensed areas.

Q. IS ALCOHOL SERVED AT BMF?

A. Yes. There are two licensed areas on site. These areas are strictly 18+. The main festival site is an Alcohol Free Zone.

Q. CAN MY CHILDREN/BABY COME INTO THE BAR AREA?

A. No. The BMF 2023 bar is strictly 18+ only.

Q. IS CASH ACCEPTED ON SITE?

A. Cash will be accepted by some market and food vendors, and there will be an ATM for withdrawals. The licensed area is CARD ONLY. Cash is not accepted at the bar. Any ticket sales at the door are CARD ONLY.

Q. CAN I BRING MY OWN WATER BOTTLE?

A. Yes, but it must be empty on arrival. Vessels with liquid will be emptied or confiscated at the point of entry and when leaving the licensed areas. Please note single-use plastic, including water bottles, is not permitted on site as part of our environmental commitment. There will be reusable aluminium water bottles available to purchase on site for $5 and free refill water stations located throughout the site.

Q. IS THE MAIN EVENT SITE ACCESSIBLE?

A. Yes,

- The festival site is flat and grassed/fully wheelchair accessible

- There is a shaded viewing area in the main stage area (not elevated)

- There is also a quiet, passive area near the main entry

- There is a Disability Access Drop-Off Zone located on Lawson Street, behind the Shuttle Bus drop off area and in front of Go Sea Kayak. This point has a ramp from the road to the footpath that leads to the Main Festival Entrance. This can also be used for pram access.

Q. IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED, CAN I GET A REFUND?

A. Yes – in the event of cancellation, all ticket holders have the choice to hold onto their tickets for a later date or request a full refund through Humanitix.

Q. WHERE SHOULD I GO FOR ACCOMMODATION IN BYRON?

A. We recommend Lord Byron, Wake Up!, The Surf House, and The Terraces.

Q. IS THERE CAMPING?

A. No part of BMF. If you want to camp nearby there a a few great camping grounds at Clark’s, Main Beach, and Sunrise.

Q. WHERE CAN I PARK?

A. There is paid metered parking at Clarke’s beach carpark (cr Lawson & Massinger Streets), at Main Beach carpark, and throughout the Byron CBD.All short walking distance to the festival site. The Main Entrance is located on Lawson Street. Please note that there are NO PASS OUTS so please ensure you feed the metre well before entering the festival site.

Q. IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

A. Yes. Two shuttles will be running a loop from 11am - 9pm

Suffolk Park bus stop - The General Store - Dening Park and

The Farm - SAE - Dening Park.

Q. CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE FESTIVAL?

A. Only companion dogs are allowed.

Q. IS THERE A VIP TICKET OPTION?

A. Nah. Everyone’s a VIP at BMF!

Q. WILL THERE BE PHONE CHARGING SERVICES AVAILABLE?

A. No. Charge up before you arrive! Bring a power bank if you can and you think you’re gonna run hot on the pics and vids!

Q. HOW DO I APPLY TO PERFORM AT BYRON MUSIC FESTIVAL?

A. Applications for the 2023 event have closed. Please keep an eye on the website for announcements for future events. Please note that BMF has a 100% local line-up. You must be from or a resident of the NSW Northern Rivers to be eligible.

Q. WHAT TRADITIONAL COUNTRY IS BYRON MUSIC FESTIVAL ON?

A. BMF is respectfully held on Gavvanbah, Arakwal Country, Bundjalung Nation with permission from custodians and elders.

Q. WHO PRODUCES BYRON MUSIC FESTIVAL?

A. Byron Music Productions Pty Ltd is the BMF producer, lead by Festival Director and Founder Nick Sergi, of Byron Music Shop.
